Terms of Service
Effective November 1, 2026. These terms cover use of greatlakesmechanic.com and mobile repair service from Great Lakes ADAS Diagnostics ("we").
Service requests
You can request service by calling or texting 248-270-7204. A request is not a confirmed appointment until we confirm a time with you. Service is available in the areas listed on this site.
Your rights under Michigan law
As a motor vehicle repair facility in Michigan, we follow the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act. That means:
- You receive a written estimate before any diagnosis, service or repair that will cost $50 or more.
- We will not charge more than the estimate by more than 10% or $10, whichever is less, without your specific authorization.
- You can ask for the parts we replace to be returned to you.
- You receive a detailed final invoice.
Working at your location
Because we come to you, you agree that you have the right to have the vehicle worked on where it is parked, and that the location is reasonably safe and legal for the work. If a repair can't be done safely or properly on site, we'll tell you before going further.
Text messaging
By texting us, you agree to receive texts from us about your request and service. Message frequency varies with your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Website
The information on this site is general and may change. Nothing on the site is a quote for a specific vehicle; you get that in your written estimate. The site and its content belong to Great Lakes ADAS Diagnostics. The ASE logo is used under our technician's certification.
Limits
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost time or a rental car, arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Michigan law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version.
